Clima
The Pitiusas have a Mediterranean climate of dry summers. The strong summer drought and a maximum rainfall in the month of October, in the annual average of 421 mm, very irregular distribution. In recent years, this irregularity has increased, presumably as a result of global climate change, with unexpected storms and heavy rainfall on the one hand ameliorate the drought that the island has suffered, encouraging the growth of native vegetation and agriculture, and another place to limit stormwater infrastructure constructed areas.
Average temperatures are:
Winter 12 º C, summer 26 º C. The average annual temperature is 18 º C.
The snow is occurring at a frequency of one day every two years.
Hail occurs a day or two every two years.
The wind is generally low intensity, especially in May, June and July and the usual direction is from west to south-west. When it blows from the east (east), there may be high winds from the south causing showers of mud.
