Demografía

Around 88,000 people officially live regularly in Ibiza, and about 5553 in Formentera (according to census data, 2001). However, there are some three million tourists who visit the islands each year (mainly British, German and French, in that order), concentrated mostly in the months of July and August, which is a high population pressure, which leads to result in significant environmental and landscape damages.
